Doppeltrommel

Hauser.Klein.Perkussion is not a percussion duo like any other. Fritz Hauser and Leonie Klein tread musical paths that go far beyond this. It is Fritz Hauser's signature to open up new spaces in percussion music. Together with Leonie Klein, he embarks on a search for unimagined worlds of sound. In their current duo programme «Doppeltrommel», these worlds of sound are created on just two drums. Everything starts with the pulse of a ticking clock: tick tock, tick tock. What follows is a sound adventure, mounted on mobile stands that are moved around the room as they play. A drum sound that moves around the room, immersing the listener in new listening situations time and again. The aim of «Doppeltrommel» is not the grand spectacle, but rather the subtleties and the infinite variety of sounds of two drums that mesmerise Hauser and Klein.

The entrance to the concert is via Schwarzwaldallee 200, at the front of the station.
