This time, the «Ein Haus....» lectures will focus on different strategies for planning buildings. The focus is on conversions, the use of materials and cultural and social resources. A look abroad will enrich the discussions on site.

The BC office consists of three separate units: an architectural office, a non-profit educational laboratory and a material production co-operative. The office aims to bring about systemic change in the building sector through regional, circular, integrative and beautiful low-tech design to protect the living space of future generations. Together with Assemble and Atelier LUMA, BC has converted a former railway depot in Arles to house new workshops for Atelier Luma's research laboratory. This sets an example for bioregional design, conveying a new attitude towards materials and promoting innovation in design practice.
