Marianne Schuppe says goodbye after years of commitment on the board and in the presidency of ignm Basel: With artists who have particularly inspired and influenced her in recent years, she invites to an evening all about voice - with music and words.

«I am interested in the terrain between music and language. An area of tension that irritates and splits the attention when listening. Words obstruct access to sounds and vice versa. How do sounds and words go together? [...] I see my work as a growth process in which nuclei are formed from which ramifications develop, similar to the drawings by Andrea Wolfensberger, which are part of the book and will be on display in the original at Gare du Nord."»
