Dialog

In her live performance, Svetlana Maraš uses a variety of musical instruments. She interprets the concert environment as a place for experimentation and collective listening. Her improvisational approach is reflected in her performances and her approach allows for a versatile sound manipulation in real time, which does justice to the play of acoustic instruments. Maraš compositions consist of a dense network of different layers that she works with simultaneously. By being able to micro-structure sound events and control the development of each layer, the acoustic space fills with narratives that accompany the listener:inside from the beginning to the end of the performance.
