Presentation holiday workshop «Hardware – Software»

Children and young people who took part in the «Hardware - Software» workshop present their results: an interdisciplinary performance in which movement, light and music come together. The performance is the result of an intensive examination of the interactions between image and sound, analog and digital. The participants created their own sounds, images and interactive elements and combined them to create an audiovisual stage show.

The workshops of the «Bild & Ton» specialist group offer insights into the combination of artistic and technological forms of expression. In mostly one-week courses, children and young people develop their own works - from the initial idea to practical implementation. They acquire basic knowledge and skills in areas such as programming, sound design, sculpture making, textile design, soldering and much more.

The workshop takes place in cooperation with K'Werk Bildschule bis 16, SfG Basel and Musikschule Basel.
