Public viewing - ESC final in the concert hall
On Saturday evening, the final of the Eurovision Song Contest will be broadcast live on a big screen in the concert hall. From 20:00, 26 countries will compete against each other and deliver a show full of music, emotion and European diversity.
Das Tanzfest Region Basel
The dance festival takes place every spring and allows everyone to find their own approach to dance and actively experience this diverse art form. The aim is to sensitise the general public to all forms of dance and to dance as a professional art form, to achieve a greater public presence for dance and to highlight the impact of dance on cultural awareness, community and health.
For several days, people in around 30 cities and municipalities will dance together to various dance styles in theatres, cultural institutions and public spaces. Each region puts together its own programme, which includes performances in public spaces, shows, open rehearsals, dance films and other activities. In addition, there are numerous taster courses everywhere to try out new dance styles and a number of parties to dance the night away.
