The double bill by the duo Mercier/Zamengo and Duet 2.26 presents two pieces of music theatre that invite you into new worlds of illusion and fantasy and open the door to a universe of new meanings and identities.

«Lux Æterna» is a modern reinterpretation of the Requiem that transports the audience into a world in which nothing is as it seems. The grand piano becomes a coffin, familiar instruments sound in unexpected ways and the skilful combination of soundscapes, live music and pre-produced sounds creates illusions that constantly challenge perception.

In «Interstices» by Duet 2.26, the performers follow the illusions further. They create a hybrid world in which the physical and the virtual, the imaginary and the real merge. With works composed especially for Duet 2.26, they embark on a journey through these intermediate spaces, attempting to escape them only to realise at the end that they have become part of their own reality.
