The necessity of using materials wisely
«Let’s act with nuance. It’s time to propose hybrid solutions and to use more demanding materials – most likely, geosourced and biosourced materials. Imagine that what is – easy, fast and reproducible – is fading away in favor of what will be – hospitable, enduring and sober. Finally, fully appreciating of the richness of building culture, known but all too often ignored reveals the intrinsic ecological performance of many architectural elements, like the use of massive stone, which should be recentered in the design process.»

«Ein Haus…» is a series of lectures in which buildings are presented in detail. This allows the different views of the architects to be recognised. The focal points of the presentations vary; they range from urban planning premises to constructional challenges, from historical references to social ambitions.
