Friendly Takeover 5 – Lukas Huber

«Endless» by and with Lukas Huber, Yanik Soland, Mathilde Raemy, Michael Anklin, Marianna Angel and Robert Torche is a series of long-term performances; each performance is to be understood as a short excerpt of a musical line that has always (and forever) sounded: The recipient and performer are invited to enter into resonance with the sounding appearance.

«Endless» will emerge from the virtual sound cosmos for the first time in 2023 at the Gare Du Nord in Basel as part of «Friendly Takeover» in the form of a performance lasting a few hours, with further performances in varying formations and lengths taking place in the following years: Over the years, the duration and size of the line-up will tend to grow, so that the infinite musical line can soon appear for more than 10 hours.

Visitors are free to enter and leave the concert hall during the performances. The Bar du Nord will be open the whole time.

Biography
Lukas Huber (*1990) is a composer and media artist. He has realised numerous multidisciplinary projects with Benjamin van Bebber, Sarah Hänggi, Leo Hofmann and Janiv Oron, among others. He has worked as part of UFO, unorthodoxjukebox o., Laser von Nazareth and l'étage nival and composed for productions at Theater Basel, Schauspielhaus Wien and Kampnagel in Hamburg. As a composer of non-staged music, he has worked with, for example, the Basel Sinfonietta, the Absolut Trio, the Ensemble Phoenix Basel, the vocal ensemble Tradiophon and the HYPER DUO. → lukashuber.net
