Ensemble We Spoke is a Swiss-based experimental and contemporary music collective led by pianist Gwen Rouger and percussionist Julien Annoni. The name «We Spoke» is a combination of «we speak» and «bespoke» and embodies the ensemble's desire to explore the twists and turns of contemporary music and present it in a larger context. Inspired by the elegant and strict tradition of chamber music, this time they perform daring interpretations of modern pieces, collective creations and from the repertoire of Contemporary Music together with performer Mio Chareteau. The atmospheres the ensemble tries to create in each performance can be very contrasting (soothing, amazing, bizarre, with a touch of humour) and serve to share their passion for today's music with the audience.
