Best On, Best oFF

One usually saves the best for last. Not so Ensemble Lemniscate. They set the bar high right at the beginning and celebrate the opening as the Ensemble of the Season with their highlights of recent years. At the centre of «Best On, Best oFF» are internationally successful works by Simon Steen-Andersen, Natasha Diels, Michael Beil and Michel Roth, among others. The spectacle will be framed by musical interventions and commentaries that the ensemble will develop together with young artists living in Switzerland. They span a wide range and present the audience with a concert experience all of a piece. An evening that oscillates between new music, electronics, sound art, performance and video art and thus explores the vibrant interface between the currents.
